L. Frank Baum's Oz collection of stories inspired me to find a way for him to be in his own story. When I eventually came up with a plan, I thought it better to loosely fictionalise him as an author called Bruce Collins. That freed me to take the plot to wherever I chose. Bruce Collins's Land of Love is the result; wherein ordinary Bruce Collins is swept into an incredible adventure with situations he has no prior knowledge of, yet is responsible for. My hope is that you, reader, will be swept up in it too.
